Visconti Homo Sapiens Ember Limited edition
An ember, also called a hot coal, is a hot lump of slowly burning solid fuel, typically glowing, composed of greatly heated wood, coal, or other carbon-based material.
Embers can exist within, remain after, or sometimes precede, a fire. Embers are, in some cases, as hot as the fire which created them.
From the complex interweaving of carbon and copper wires comes the new Homo Sapiens Ember collection. Inspired by the incandescent lava bursting out of the volcano at the moment of eruption, this writing instrument is a symbol of nature’s power and liveliness.
The intertwining of the copper and carbon threads recalls the luminosity and dynamism of magma in its liquid state.
The combination of these elements with the bronze metalwork recalls the iconic Homo Sapiens collection.
This material fusion gives the pen an elegant, experienced and decisive look.
The choice of 3k carbon and the processing techniques derived from the automotive world are the characteristics that make this Homo Sapiens unique and innovative.
This particular carbon fibre, impregnated with tenacious epoxy resins, is capable of adapting to the complex moulds of writing instruments and is processed using the Compression Molding technique, which maintains the mechanical characteristics unchanged and allows particular aesthetic results to be achieved.
