Kaweco is one of the earliest companies of German pens and pencils, which was born in 1883 in Heidelberg. In 1899 Heinrich Koch and Rudolph Weber acquired the company and started marketing with the Kaweco brand, born of the abbreviation of Koch, Weber & Compagnie. In the 1920s it became Germany's first pen manufacturer, but in time the competition became more and more aggressive and alternating moments of crisis and recovery, until the 1990s, with a review of the most famous model of the 'company, sport.

Kaweco Original design consists of two different fountain pens, 1 is the Oroginal 060 and 1 is the Original 250.
The Kaweco Original 060 fountain pen is smaller in length, thinner and lighter than the larger Original 250.
The 060 fountain pen fits a #5 size steel nib.
The 060 fountain pen fits a #6 size steel nib.
    060 and 250 use international-size ink cartridge.
Both the pens are usable with the Kaweco converter (sold separately).

While the basic shape was based on writing instruments from the late 50s, the octagonal shape breathes the typical Kaweco product DNA into the Original.
Especially the grip section makes the writing instrument clearly recognisable, as it is convex compared to other Kaweco series.

  • KAWECO EBONIT SPORT...

    Experience history!

With the Kaweco Ebonit Sport, we take you on a journey through time:

The beginning of Kaweco goes back to the year 1883. For 140 years, Kaweco has been writing history with high-quality writing instruments and therefore is known as one of the oldest brands in its industrial sector. We want to celebrate this anniversary with you and all Kaweco fans with a special set.

As a tribute to these former days, we have decided on a Kaweco Sport model made from valuable ebonite. Next to wood, hard rubber has often been the material of choice for producing writing instruments for more than 100 years. The expressive marbling and the highly polished surface suggest the appearance of valuable exotic wood. Haptic and weight enhance this effect and make the fountain pen a true delight to behold that is unsurpassed. The combination with golden-plated elements activates the warm brown tone and underlines the nostalgic character of the writing tool. A complex burin engraving perfectly complements the history-steeped craftmanship.

Not only the fountain pen is based on its historical origin, but the extravagant packaging is also inspired by paper boxes from back then.

The limited set includes a nostalgic clip in gold and a nient 10-pack ink cartridges in the different Kaweco ink colours. In addition, you can choose between our standard five nib sizes, from extra fine to extra broad. Depending on taste and writing style, the writing instrument can thus be individualised. You can also receive the 10-pack ink cartridges in our beautiful ink colours as a separate article in our standard range.
